is anyone really ever completely self-aware?
i'd like to think so
but i doubt it.
physically- no because we can't watch ourselves all the time on a movie screen. actors can, but usually they just see themselves pretending to be someone else.
we can't read minds (or maybe some of us can). but even then, i don't think i would want to be able to. it would take the mystery out of life, plus it's like the Modest Mouse song,
"No one really knows the ones they love
If you knew everything they thought
I bet that you'd wish that they'd just shut up"

we will never know how others see us and thats ok, all we can do is change the things we do have control over.
be yourself and people will love you, and if not, fuck em'!
